Changing Site Colors

There are currently a few locations that you are able to easily apply color changes to:

  1. Navigation Background Color – Set the background color of the navigation (top) menu bar.
  2. Navigation Link Color – Set link colors inside the navigation (top) menu bar.
  3. Navigation Link Hover Color – Set link colors when a user hovers on a menu item inside the navigation (top) menu bar.
  4. Navigation Link Active Color – Set the link color of current page’s menu item inside the navigation (top) menu bar.
  5. Site Link Color – Set the color for links on your website.
  6. Site Link Hover Color – Set the color when a user hovers on links on your website.
  7. Body Background Color – Set the body background color of your website pages.
  8. Footer Background Color – Set the background color of the footer (bottom) bar.
  9. Footer Text Color – Set the color of the text inside the footer (bottom) bar.

How To Change Site Colors

We’ve made it as easy as possible to adjust the colors on your website and preview them by making use of the WordPress Customizer. Follow these easy steps:

  1. Open your WordPress dashboard
  2. Navigate to ‘Appearance’ -> ‘Customize’. This will load the front-end of your site with the Customizer open.
  3. Select ‘Site Colors’
  4. Change the colors of which area (listed above) you would like to apply the changes to.
  5. Select ‘Publish’ to save your changes and close the Customizer.
